John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman Lush Life

I'm not embarrassed to say that this is one of my all time favorite recordings. These lyrics by Strayhorn are so rich and the chords are dark and sweet. I picture a wealthy bachelor in the 40's drinking in a smokey nightclub in Paris. This whole album is timeless John Coltrane, Mcoy Tyner, Elvin Jones, Jimmy Garrison and Johnny Hartman! what could be better.
